Hindu Poems

Morning Comes
Morning comes After the night,
Calling to do What is right.

The sun's rays Tinge the sky,
Asking from truth Never to fly.

The wind whispers In the ear,
"Follow the just path Without fear".

Be in joyous Or painful mood,
Always remember God is good.

Bande Mataram
Mother, I bow to thee!
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
Bright with thy orchard gleams,
Cool with thy winds of delight,
Dark fields waving, Mother of might,
Mother free.

Glory of moonlight dreams
Over thy branches and lordly streams,
Clad in thy blossoming trees,
Mother, giver of ease,
Laughing low and sweet!
Mother, I kiss thy feet,
Speaker sweet and low!
Mother, to thee I bow.

Who hath said thou art weak in thy lands,
When the swords flash out in twice seventy million hands
And seventy millions voices roar
Thy dreadful name from shore to shore?
With many strengths who art mighty and stored,
To thee I call, Mother and Lord!
Thou who savest, arise and save!
To her I cry who ever her foemen drave
Back from plain and sea
And shook herself free.

Thou art wisdom, thou art law,
Thou our heart, our soul, our breath,
Thou the love divine, the awe
In our hearts that conquers death.
Thine the strength that nerves the arm,
Thine the beauty, thine the charm.
Every image made divine
In our temples is but thine.

Thou art Durga, Lady and Queen,
With her hands that strike and her swords of sheen,
Thou art Lakshmi lotus-throned,
Pure and perfect without peer,
Mother, lend thine ear.
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
Bright with thy orchard gleams,
Dark of hue, O candid-fair

In thy soul, with jewelled hair
And thy glorious smile divine,
Loveliest of all earthly lands,
Showering wealth from well-stored hands!
Mother, mother mine!
Mother sweet, I bow to thee,
Mother great and free.

The Indian Culture

The Indian culture is very sound,
it is based upon the family background.
The bond of their relationship is such found,
that we can smell the presence like the hounds.

The Indian families are generally spiritual,
living in a joint family is traditional.
Love among each other is proportional,
the partition of property makes them emotional.

The support of the members is generous,
their affection towards us is precious,
their devotion towards us is fabulous,
these things make me feel very specious.

The strength of the family can even fight with the tide,
where sadness goes away and hide.
Where even obstacles give them the side,
being the member of such a family is my pride.

Indian Culture

Indian culture is unique and good.
It can be easily understood.

Indian culture originates from sanskrit.
It follows the ideals of saint's manuscripts.

It teaches us to be unite.
In problem hold your friend's hand tight.

Indian culture is epitome of love and grace.
Tradition of saree and jwellery adds attraction on face.

We Indian get blessings while touching feet.
The teaching of mother to child that dear never cheat.

Indian culture gives us the fragrance of knowledge.
It signifies the meaning of college.

The teaching of father says do hardwork and you will win.
The teaching of priest says in life don't do sin.

Here is a heaven in offering prayers to God.
The sweet voice of mother add peace to soul.

Festivals are our culture's heart.
They bring relationship together which are apart.

Indian culture is full of different religion.
It Is full of beauty of region.

Indian culture shows love which is divine.
We Indians are dedicated to temples and shrines
